Has Actor, Will Smith Gone Broke?

For most people that drive for Uber or Lyft, it’s typically a way to make a little extra money. So why, then, did four unsuspecting passengers catch a Lyft ride from the Will Smith?

Has Will Smith gone broke? Does he need to drive for the rideshare company to pay his mortgage? Has he spent all of his money gambling at the casino? Or lost it all in the stock market?

That answer is NO. The Bad Boys 3 actor still has a net worth of over 300 million dollars. He has earned that much over the course of three decades from his movies, television, and music. He’s also a producer and has had a hand in the creation of movies such as Bad Boys For Life, 2010’s The Karate Kid, and 2008’s Seven Pounds.

The reason that Smith was driving for Lyft was to promote his movie, Bad Boys for Life, and he picked his passengers up in style. He drove them around in a 2020 Porsche Taycan while playing his role as Detective Mike Lowry from his new movie.

The passengers had a lot of fun riding around with Will Smith. He had one of his passengers facetime his girlfriend during the trip because she watched the original movie on a regular basis. He got another passenger to practice her scariest “Freeze! Police!” voice. After the entire process, Lyft was generous enough to give each passenger a year of free rides. The passengers might also get an opportunity to follow Will Smith out to California to see his new movie!

Lyft was nice enough to give each passenger a year of free rides for the next year! They might follow Will out to California to go see his movie out there, next!
